Business owners in Midway say the influx of new shops and restaurants in recent years have increased foot traffic. Some say the small town known as Little Switzerland has reached a tipping point, creating a lively Main Street.
Sitting at a desk in the consultation area of her interior design store, Spruce Personalized Decor, Jennifer Mangum-Whaley explained why she chose to start her interior design company in Midway.
“When I moved here, I decided I wanted to have a store. I thought Midway was a great little sleepy town that could do that,” Mangum-Whaley said.
